   Garden Route Game Lodge Safari Wedding Nestled on the edge of a breathtaking valley, Serengeti’s and the adjoining Labola Chapel provides a unique and romantic African setting for you to celebrate your wedding in South Africa. Architecturally designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape, the stylish wedding venue has been carefully constructed using natural materials such as stone, thatch, wood and glass and brings together the elements of earth, fire and water with taste and style. The wedding venue near Cape Town South Africa can accommodate from 60 to 200 wedding guests with a dance floor. The expansive wrap around wooden decks allow your guests to witness the sunset over the majestic Langeberg Mountains and the star studded African night sky while the Serengeti Bar and Lounge are for your exclusive use. The wedding venue is totally climate controlled throughout the year with 3 fireplaces for those chillywinter evenings. Wedding Couples have the option of making use of the Labola Chapel or may opt for an open air ceremony on the wooden deck overlooking the valley below. Copies of our menus are available. Menu prices range from R 175 to R 290 for 2010. Children under the age of 12 yrs pay 50% of the adult rate, children from 3 to 6 yrs pay 25% and children under 3 will not be charged. Should you make use of an outside caterer for special dietary requirements such as Kosher or Halaal, a surcharge of R 80 per person will be charged. SERVICE FEES To ensure that your guests have a pleasant and relaxing dining experience, waitrons are employed to attend to their needs. This service is compulsory and the minimum requirements are: v For plated menus, one waitron per every 10 guests v For buffet menus, one waitron for every 20 guests as well as three runners per wedding. v A headwaiter is employed to serve the main table only. v Waiters/runners are charged at R 25 per waiter per hour with a minimum of a 6 hour shift (R 150 per waiter) for 2009/2010. v One barman is required for every 50 guests with a total of 3 barmen for up to 200 guests for all types of bar requirements. v Additional barmen will be charged at R 30 per barmen per hour with a minimum of an 8 hour shift (R 240 per barman) for 2009/2010. v Babysitting facilities are available at R60 per hour per babysitter ACCOMMODATION FOR THE WEDDING GUESTS AT THE GARDEN ROUTE GAME LODGE Luxurious Accommodation is on offer in our Main Lodge rooms or chalets with a total of 34 rooms. Main Lodge: The tastefully decorated Lodge rooms combine luxury and comfort with an African theme. Complete with en-suite bathrooms, they all lead onto a West facing balcony which offers breathtaking sunsets over the Langeberg Mountains all within steps of the sparkling pool. There are 8 family rooms which can each sleep 2 adults and 2 children and 8 twin rooms. Chalets: The 18 twin luxury en-suite chalet, ideal for couples, are scattered throughout a lush valley overgrown with Milkwoods, Wild Olives,Cheeswoods and other indigenous vegetation. Your own private viewing deck overlooks one of the waterholes frequented by buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe and other plains game.
