Overlooking a secluded beach, this picturesque guesthouse in Cape Town South Africa lies on the outskirts of historic Simon’s Town, between Cape Town and Cape Point, on the False Bay Coastline. 

The accommodation at Whale View Manor provides ten lovingly handcrafted rooms, each with an authentic creation of many exotic cultures that echoes South African’s own rich heritage.  Six rooms afford a magnificent sea view, while four offer majestic mountain vistas and garden excess. 

Take in the warm hospitality of the eclectic reception areas and enjoy our gorgeous breakfasts in the quite serenity of the dining room which has an outstanding vantage point to watch the calving whales and the penguin colonies.

This unique Guesthouse offers our clients an intimate wedding venue with spectacular views of the ocean. They offer a beautiful beach wedding and a secluded garden or courtyard for your wedding ceremony.

The venue can accommodate a maximum of 40 guests for a seated function or 60 guests for a cocktail function.

CEREMONY

Wedding ceremonies are able to take place on Fishermans beach, directly opposite Whale View Manor Guest House. As a weather back up to this option it is also possible to marry under the gazebo in the garden, in the courtyard or on the deck overlooking the ocean.

GRATUITY

A 15% gratuity is added to all food and beverage accounts and is paid to the staff of the day of your wedding.

BEVERAGES

A fully stocked bar is available.  This may work on an account system, where all beverages consumed will be added to the final account, or  you can have a cash bar, where all beverages consumed are paid for by the guests.  Should wedding couples wish to provide their own wine and champagne, then a corkage fee of R38-00 per bottle will be charged.

SHAYA MOYA SPA 

The guest house has in-house Spa where we are able to assist wedding couples with treatments before and after their wedding. Whale View Manor can also offer Hair and makeup for the bride as well as her family and friends at an additional cost.

DÉCOR

All décor requirements need to be arranged with the in-house coordinator. This includes floral décor, table settings, printed menus, floor plans, table numbers, bridal floral requirements i.e. Bridal bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquet, corsages, button holes etc may also be arranged by our preferred Florist.

MUSIC

Please be advised that all music does need to be turned off at 12 midnight.

PARKING

Parking at Whale View Manor Guest House is limited and therefore we are unable to offer parking to guests attending any event.  Parking is available in the public parking bays below the Guesthouse. A parking attendant to watch the cars during the function can be arranged at an additional fee.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENTS REQUIREMENTS

Final payment for any additional costs incurred ie. Beverages, corkage, gratuities etc will be billed prior to your departure.

Please note check out time is at 10am the next morning.

TRANSFERS AND TOURS

The guest house has an in-house Transfer and Tours company.  They are able to assist with transfers to and from the airport and local restaurant transfers.
