Additional Extra’s Back Up Venue – Nearby Chapel R3000 Your wedding ceremony can be conducted in our majestic gardens (but please note that we do not have an alternative venue should it rain on the day), followed by dinner in one of the following venues based on availability: If you have a larger wedding party the Cellars-Hohenort Hotel Cape Town South Africa has several options. See below: The Conservatory, which is situated in the Cellars building forms part of our Greenhouse Restaurant and can accommodate between 20 and 30 people depending on the table set-up. The venue hire for your exclusive use of this room is R5000.00. The Greenhouse Restaurant, which is available for larger groups, can accommodate a maximum of 80 guests, with a venue hire charge of R8000.00. Should you require the use of our Greenhouse Restaurant, the Conservatory, which is located adjacent to our Restaurant, would then be used to accommodate our in-house guests, and wedding guests are therefore asked to respect other guests using the communal areas. For this reason we are unable to offer dancing or a band, but we would be delighted to bring in musicians, such as a string quartet or a harpist, should you require. Classical CDs are also available for your use. Please be advised that we have a non smoking policy in the venues listed above, however smoking is permitted on the terrace and outdoor areas. We welcome children over the age of 12 years old. The set up fee for a garden wedding ceremony for larger wedding party’s is R28,000.00 (Excluding the hiring of the chairs) Please note that should you choose to have your ceremony conducted in our Gardens, we will waiver the venue hire fee for the use of the Restaurant. Please take note that due to The Hotel being fully allocated during the months of September to April the hotel cannot accommodate weddings during this time. The menus start at R500.00 per head and can be created with the hotel’s Group Executive chef Peter Tempelhoff. This excludes beverages and a gratuity of 10%, which will be added to the final bill. For assistance with your wine choices the hotel’s sommelier is at your disposal to assist you in choosing wines best suited to compliment your selected menu. Should you have any special requirements or preferences, the hotel’s Chef would be willing to draw up a set menu to suit your needs. Vegetarian guests can be accommodated should your menu not be suitable for your vegetarian guests, but unfortunately the hotel can not accommodate Halaal or Kosher guests. Flowers can be arranged through the hotel’s in-house florist, Jill McKrill. Her artistic flair with flowers will allow you to choose the perfect arrangements and bouquets for the day. Should you wish the ceremony to be conducted on the premises, we are able to offer the services of a registered marriage officer, as well as a photographer should you require. The hotel also have both a hair and beauty salon on the premises, offering bridal styles and make up. Paris Beauty Salon offers a range of facials massages and treatments including a dual massage room which offers romantic simultaneous, synchronized massages for both Bride and Groom. |
